PART III Nicholas Shaw,

Photographer

JNicholas Shaw has been immersed in paintball media for the past two years, capturing the intensity and energy of the sport through his lens. Photography runs in his blood— he got his start as a kid helping his mom, a photojournalist for their local paper. That passion grew into a career that now includes freelancing for that same paper, serving as the photographer for his local fire department, and chasing wildlife with his camera whenever there’ s a break in his schedule.
A U. S. Army veteran with a decade of service and a deployment to Iraq under his belt, Nick brings a steady eye and a calm presence to the field. He’ s been married for 13 years and is the proud dad of two daughters who keep him on his toes more than any front-line action ever did.

Wan Mad, Photographer

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Wan started as a paintball player in 2004 and has been actively shooting paintball since 2005. Wan established his company, AXMEDIA in 2016, providing photography services for paintball specifically and various other types of sports in Malaysia.
“ Paintball is one of many popular extreme sports in Malaysia and it is on a sharp rise since its introduction there and it has been a privilege to be one of the pioneers in paintball photography in this country,” Wan told us.
