The World ’ s first Magfed Festival gathered 1000 players in the craziest paintball field in Europe : Battleground !!!
May hosted a 4-day Festival dedicated just to Magfed , with the support of First Strike and hosted by Bertl Wolowitz ( the Rock Star behind these magic moments ) in the famous Battleground Paintball field , located in Brozek – Poland .
The scenario has been set to blow the players ’ minds with real tanks and other military vehicles included in the game play , missions controlled in real time by Ares Alpha software and to top it off , an incredible international vibe with players from many countries .
The Event
The concept behind this event is simple , to gather the Magfed community in a festival never seen or felt by the Magfed enthusiasts . The planning started back in February 2021 , about 15 months before the “ D-Day ”, in the middle of a global pandemic …
As incredible as it might sound , the tickets went for sale in November 2021 for 99 €, that included the 4-day festival , all match days , camping , showers and toilets , raffles , tradeshow , side events , players party , First Strike Contest , live concerts , tank driving and the top service of Battleground with restaurant , rooms , and even washing / drying facilities … The tickets sold out within a couple of months !
Battleground Paintball field is located in an old military base of the World War II era , full of buildings , bunkers , roads and many well-built themed paintball fields . All this is topped with convoys of military vehicles roaming around in missions .
The sheer dimension of the festival , in the eyes and blown mind that has experienced it , was a true testimony of a rulebook on how to make a fun , challenging , appealing and memorable festival for everyone .
