Proedge Paintball Factory , Tropic Thunder and Houston Zone each blasted their way through the Division Four Xball preliminary rounds undefeated and it was a clear sign of what was to come . Houston Zone would go wire to wire to take first place , taking down Tropic Thunder in the finals 5-1 . Tiki ’ s Factory Revo handled Proedge Paintball Factory in the consolation game 5-2 to claim third place .
Seven teams entered Division Five X-Ball in Texas with LB CMPT winning all four prelim games . Storm Riders and Austin Notorious D5 each won three of four games early . In the end it was Storm Riders over Outlaw
Anodizing Red 4-3 to take first place . Valhalla took first place in the Open sevenman competition ; Greed took first place in Division Three 5-man ; ARF Storm Riders won Division Four 5-man ; Texas Titans Black took down Division Five 5-man ; Innocent Bystanders won Amateur 3-man ; Midwest Ropers took first place in the Novice 3-man division ; and Valkyries won the Open 3-man .
Once again this was a nice showing by the NXL , the teams , refs and fans . We ’ ll see you all in Philly .
