Eleven teams entered the Semi-pro division of the NXL Lone Star Open and PaintballFit . com breezed through the preliminary rounds like a hot knife through butter , winning all four games by a combined score of 22-4 . Killers , Annapolis A-Team and Arsenal each won three first round games .
In the quarterfinals it was killers over Hurricanes and Blast Camp over Arsenal . Annapolis A-Team knocked off Killers in the semifinals and Blast Camp surprised many beating PaintballFit . com to move into the finals . Blast Camp continued their roll in the finals , taking down Annapolis A-Team 6-1 . Killers won the battle for third place , over PaintballFit . com 6-4 .
Eight teams made their way to Texas to play Division Two of the Lone Star Open . In this one it was the KC Missouri All Stars winning all of its preliminary round games . Vegas Brawlers and Leverage each won
Photo By Gary Baum three of their four early games . Leverage easily handled the Vegas Brawlers 8-3 in the semifinals , while KC Missouri All Stars just got past CWE Power to move onto the finals . The KC Missouri All Stars continued their streak , going wire to wire , beating Leverage in the finals 6-2 to take first place in Division Two .
Division Three was the largest divisions at the Lone Star Open with 20 teams . Neither Outlaw Anodizing Purple or Wisconsin Infamous lost a game in the preliminary rounds , but of the two , only Wisconsin Infamous would make it past the quarterfinals . Joining them would be Texas Cyclones , ASG Gummy Bears and Omaha Jamz . Texas Cyclone would go on to beat ASG Gummy Bears in the semifinals and then Omaha Cyclone in the finals to take first place . ASG Gummy Bears handled business against Wisconsin Infamous to take third place .
