In the quarterfinals Royal City Seadogs beat Chicago Distortion 3-2 ; Leverage took down Clutch City Oilers 2-1 , TJBastards beat Midwest Saints and Noobies beat Nasty 4-2 … bummer these two teams met so early on Sunday . That ’ s just the way the schedule played out .
In the semifinals Leverage kept their streak alive winning a tough game against Noobies 3-2 and the Royal City Seadogs beat the Bastards 3-2 . In the end it was Leverage , last year ’ s 11th ranked Semipro team , that would take home the first place trophy and prizes . Leverage beat the Royal City Seadogs in the finals 3-2 . Incredibly all but two Sunday games were won by more than a single point . I expect this year ’ s Semipro division to have 4-5 different event winners by the season ’ s end . This is a very balanced division .
Twenty-seven teams entered Division Two Xball in Las Vegas . New York Wrecking Crew and Shut Up We ’ re
Trying , last year ’ s first and second place rankings winners have been promoted to Semipro for 2024 . Here in Vegas only Wolfpack and TPPCrew managed to win their four preliminary round games , again a sign of parity within the division . By the time Sunday ’ s play ended it was newcomers to Division Two and locals , Vegas Brawlers knocking off BR Factory to claim first place in Division Two .
Division Three saw East Coast Raptors beating Texas Titans in the finals to take first place . Outlaw AP D3 beat Jackpot to take third place . Woodkings won Division Four Xball , Shut Up They ’ re Trying took Division Five ’ s Xball title ; Chicago Aftershock won the Ten- Versus Ten division ; Image won the Seven Versus Seven ; Sacramento Storm won the WNXL Amateur division ; And Iconic won the Youth Five-Man .
