Out of the gate the Cheetahs and The Heroines looked very sharp going undefeated in their four games with most being blowouts . The Cheetahs , come into Vegas after a 7th place finish in the 2022 rankings and series champions in 2023 . And of course , the Heroines won the ranking series title in 2022 and finished second in 2023 . These are two strong franchises .
The New Jersey High Rollers and Dallas Vibe each won three of their preliminary round games , while Femmes Fatale , and Suricatos ( from Columbia ) each won two .
In the semifinals Dallas Vibe beat Cheetahs 4-2 and the New Jersey High Rollers took down The Heroines 2-1 . The final matchup was a slow defensive game between Dallas Vibe and the
New Jersey High Rollers and in the end Dallas Vibe took home the first place trophy as they did in the 2023 opening WNXL event of the season .
Divisional Play
A whopping 30 teams entered the Semiprofessional division of the NXL Las Vegas Major . And the good news for all of them is PaintballFit and Blast Camp have been promoted to the Pros , making Noobies and Nasty the favorites coming into this season .
In the prelims Chicago Distortion , Midwest Saints , Clutch City Oilers , TJBastards and Nasty swept their divisions , each going 4-0 . Noobies , Tiki ’ s Totem , Royal City Seadogs , KC Missouri All Stars and Preferred Mob each won three first-round games .
