You would probably think a San Diego Dynasty versus New Orleans Hurricanes final-round matchup might be a sleeper but this was anything but … this was anyone ’ s game until it wasn ’ t . In this Dynasty world we all live in the Hurricanes did everything they could but came up just one point short in this high-scoring game . In the end , Dynasty just found a way to eke out a 5-4 win .

Watching the preliminary rounds of the WNXL I have seen the level of play raised event after event . And let me tell you , this league is growing in size and in talent . I remember watching the WNBA in its early stages and the game was played completely below the rim , shooting was decent and the overall game wasn ’ t where it needed to be to gain in popularity . And now they can dunk , they pass like pros and some of the women shoot better than their male counterparts in the NBA . New leagues take time and the WNXL in my opinion , is ahead of schedule . These women can play .
