In the end both teams fought hard all weekend . They made this 6th Bones and Ashes event one for the memory book . As we all know it takes more than just players to make a successful paintball event . Thank you to the photographers / videographers for taking a chance on us . They risked their time , body and equipment to make us all look like heroes . If you find a good action shot of your team or yourself then don ’ t be afraid of giving that photographer the credit they deserve and consider purchasing that hard-earned picture so that you will have physical memory or your heroic feat and they can continue to make us look so good .
Thank you to Solstice Law for being hands down the best ref staff to have ever graced the game . This group ’ s energy and dedication to its role and beyond is one of the reasons this game is so successful and fun . Thank you to the field staff and ownership , you have the gold standard in player experience and you keep finding ways to make it better and better . Thank you to Honu , Lani and CPX for the production and management of such an incredible game . It has a unique flow that is so much fun and innovative ; you never cease to amaze and entertain .
Thank you to all the brilliant players that graced the field for Bones and Ashes 2023 , you are the people that have given this game its competitive and savage edge , may you come back again and again to keep the debauchery flowing for years to come . All of the red team ’ s attempts were brave and admirable ; unfortunately they were not enough to stop Rob Maryland ’ s unstoppable force . Congratulations Rob and the blue team on your well earned victory and we hope to see everyone back next year as Rob looks to defend his title and possibly build his own 3-peat .
