The first alluring point grab comes early for both commanders as they are called to assemble the forces they have available for a moonlight stroll , and not the romantic kind , the picking up glowing materials in a rather dark wooded , swamp kind . Unbeknownst to the commanders with their red and blue armies , production / ref staff , along with some eager spectators , not so friendly locals hid glowsticks throughout the field .
The mission was simple , each team had an opportunity to collect the glow sticks , whichever team turned up with the most glowsticks received their starting side position for day one . The daylight began to wane and the droves of teammates and spectators took to the woods to watch the depths that these men and women would go to in the hopes of advancing their team . They dug in awkward areas , slopped through the swamps and climbed trees to grab that extra bit of an advantage . Once all the players had returned from their pillaging , and the glowsticks had been counted , it was Rob Maryland and his blue team that edged out Clutch and his red team , giving them an early lead and side choice for Saturday morning . As the party drew to an end , the night grew long and with war soon upon them , the players rested in peaceful slumber with dreams of pleasant conquest and bloodthirsty domination .
Day one started out different for both sides . The weather was perfect , the air was ripe with excitement , anticipation and a hint of coffee aroma ; but still , something was amiss . The armies readied their equipment , donned their protection and lined the starting gates as the commanders toiled and strategized . As the hordes eagerly waited for the horn some of them begin to notice missing companions , and for the red team their commander has seemed to disappear , but these aren ’ t the only things that these two teams are missing , they just haven ’ t figured it out yet . www . paintball . media
