XSV in their prime plays the Ironmen of the mid- 90s in ten-man woodsball with both teams using the same equipment . Who wins and why ? Same question on a ten-man airball field ?
Good question . I have the utmost respect for the Ironmen , they were at the time the best in the world at what they did . A decade later though paintball had changed and become more technical . In the woods anything can happen but I ’ d pick XSV … so many good woodsball players ... John Richardson , Matty Marshall , Micah
McGlocklin , Nicky Cuba and Thomas Taylor to name a few .
On airball or Hyperball I don ’ t think the game would be as close and would still pick XSV . Again no disrespect those old school Ironmen , they were amazing but a decade of advancement in our sport is huge .
