Coming into Dover it was Red Legion sitting atop the Pro leaderboard by virtue of their first-place finish in the season’ s opening event in Tampa, Florida. Edmonton Impact, Paintball FIT and CK Hurricanes rounded out the top four Pro teams in these early stages of the 2026 season.
In the Mid-Atlantic Pro preliminary rounds Red Legion picked up where they left off in Tampa-- four straight wins and ranked first going into the weekend. After an 11th place finish in Tampa, the Los Angeles Ironmen won their four preliminary round games as well, as did San Diego Dynasty. PaintballFit, CK Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Damage each won three first-round games.
Battling their way to the ocho rounds were TonTons Arsenal, Perris ASG Aftermath, Edmonton Impact and Seattle Uprising. TonTons knocked off Aftermath in a 6-0 blowout, while Impact handled their business against Uprising 5-1.
In the quarters Edmonton Impact kept rolling with a tough win over the surprisingly strong Los Angeles
Ironmen 3-2. A well-rested Red Legion team then cruised past TonTons Arsenal 7-1. PaintballFit scored a big 4-3 win over San Diego Dynasty, who just hasn’ t been the same since winning the opening event in 2024. Tampa Damage, the best Pro team that most casual fans never heard of, continued their strong play in the quarterfinals, knocking off Konstantin Fedorov and the rest of the CK Hurricanes.
In what was arguably the best semifinals bracket we’ ve seen in a while, Tampa Bay Damage would end Red Legion’ s run at back-to-back wins, taking the game 4-3. Edmonton Impact then took out PaintballFit with relative ease, 4-1.
In the Pro finals Tampa Bay Damage came out red hot against Edmonton Impact and never looked back. As well as Impact was playing it was a shock to see them literally lose point after point. In the end it was game, set match for Tampa Damage, 7-1. Damage wins their fourth event since the third NXL tournament in 2023. Four Pro wins in the last 11 events.
