“ It was very, very much a team effort on my side,” Fosnacht said.“ My guys and girls were absolutely amazing. Everyone was more than willing to help across the board. Whenever I got a little worried or saw any type of leak, I heard the same thing,‘ Don’ t worry, I told you we got you.’ That exact sentence over and over again.”
He credited his command team for the tremendous effort they put into making the event a success.
“[ Johnny ] Bravo, John Lee, Dylon, Damian, and Kory all stepped up and took the lead at different points- John Lee and Bravo basically owned the command tent for me at different times. They made sure that people were as involved as they wanted to be, knew where to go and what to do, and kept us on-time for the Legion Fights and 5-on-5s,” he said.“ And they did such a good job of recruiting great people and teams, keeping them organized, and enabling those teams to go out there and do what they do best.”
The system clearly worked.
Despite a hard-fought battle, in the end, the Vikings would triumph with the win. Boogyman would honor the Apex Predators with a repeat MVT for the Blue team, and was unable to pick just one member out of the dynamic Toxic Teddys to honor, so he named the entire team Blue MVP( s). The Blue MoFO went to the 13th Legionnaires.
As for the Red team, Fosnacht honored the tankers for their commitment, discipline, and hard work by giving the MVT to Cash Money Crew. He celebrated the cerebral prowess of Christine Desilets from Otter Chaos by giving her the MVP. And he recognized the proverbial thorn in his side, the Mercenaries, with the MoFO.
“ They were super impressive and were a genuine problem for us,” Fosnacht said of the Mercs.“ They should be proud of what they did out there.”
He also gave special recognition to the guys who stood by his side through the entire process of developing the event.
