The first Veckring Big Game of 2026 kicked off in style as 414 players stormed onto one of Europe’ s most legendary paintball fields. Before the main battle began, players warmed up with a fast-paced 3-on-3 speedball tournament, setting the tone for a weekend packed with action.
But this wasn’ t your average Veckring event.
This time, the entire weekend embraced a full Viking theme. Players, referees, organizers, and even spectators arrived dressed for battle, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a Norse invasion than a paintball game. Teams traveled from across Europe, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Luxembourg, and France.
The missions went far beyond simply shooting paint. Players built bridges, assembled catapults to destroy enemy targets, and fought through intense firefights to capture point crates dropped from a zipline. And, as always, the field’ s tanks rolled into action, adding another level of chaos to the battlefield.
Off the field, the vendor area was buzzing. Players checked out the latest gear, tested new demo markers from Luxe and Dye, and even visited a tattoo booth that offered everything from custom artwork to ready-made designs for those wanting a permanent reminder of the weekend.
