In the first bracket Image took out the All Americans 93-14, in what can only be described by anyone that’ s been there, as a flashback to the NPPL, circa 1997 when these two teams regularly met in the Pro semifinals and finals. Next up the OG Hurricanes beat Image, also 93-14. In the final game from the first bracket it was the All Americans 92-16 over the OG Hurricanes.
Bracket One scores:
OG Hurricanes: 109 Image: 107 All Americans: 106
The Hurricanes make it out of the semifinals and into the finals by a mere 2 points over Image and three points over the All Americans.
Bracket two’ s opening game pitted Infamous and MVPS Dark Ops as again, three teams are now battling for one spot in the Pro Ten Versus Ten finals. This was a stalemate game in that neither team got even a flag pull, let along a hang. MVPS Dark Ops comes away with an 18-15 win. Next up Farside put a beatdown on MSPS Dark Ops 97-6. In the finals game of the bracket, Infamous bounced back nicely to walk away with a very tough, 91-18 win. Infamous had one body alive— enough to grab and hang the flag for a clean win.
Bracket Two Scores:
Farside: 115 Infamous: 106 MVPS Dark Ops: 24
Bracket three was a bit more one-sided than the others, with Chicago Aftershock being the only team to in the Pro semifinals to win their two games. They first took down Smoke 94-12, then speed-bumped Adrenaline 99-2, nine bodies alive. Adrenaline beat Smoke in the third game 94-12.
