More Than a Game— A Paintball Festival
What sets the Veckring Big Game apart isn’ t just the fierce competition— it’ s the experience. Players and spectators alike enjoy an unmatched festival atmosphere: free camping, hot showers, toilets, food trucks, drink stations, and live music all add to the weekend’ s immersive vibe. Whether you’ re celebrating victory or swapping stories under the stars, the camaraderie is as powerful as the firefights.
Friendly staff and organized logistics make the event smooth for both newcomers and seasoned vets. And with thousands of stories echoing through these fields over the years, every player becomes part of the legacy.
A Weekend of War Stories
This year’ s first Big Game delivered high-intensity action across seven matches— four on Saturday, three on Sunday. Every round brought a new mission, a fresh objective, and a chance to shift the scoreboard. With special collectible items hidden across the field— redeemable for bonus points— strategy mattered just as much as marksmanship.
At the halfway mark, Team Blue leads the charge with 875 points, edging out Team Red at 825. But with the second game set for September— marking the 80th Veckring Big Game anniversary( 4 games are played on Saturday and 3 on Sunday)— the battle is far from over. The trophy goes to the team with the highest combined score from both games, and Team Red isn’ t going down without a fight.
If you’ ve ever dreamed of playing paintball on one of Europe’ s most iconic and immersive fields, Veckring is the place. With history, heart-pounding action, and a community like no other, it’ s more than a game— it’ s a movement.
Only one question remains: will Team Blue hold their lead, or will Team Red rise and steal the trophy? There’ s only one way to find out...
