For any person that enjoys the game of paintball or participates in other extreme activities , safety is paramount . When there are 1000 + players in attendance , maintaining safety and fair play can be extremely complex . As a legendary producer , DJ Honu Fox only wants to bring the best to his games so for safety and fair play he has called upon Solstice Law . These women and men are truly superhuman in their abilities . They are a household name when it comes to paintball . They bring a style to the game just as unique as their very recognizable jersey . Big scenario games are generally infamous for “ cease fires ” or potentially hazardous conditions ; however , since Solstice Law and CPX have teamed up , Legends events have become the safest , most sought-after games ever . In an unprecedented event , LLXIV ’ s final battle had zero injuries and ZERO cease fires . This clash , taking place in and around the grinder , has to be one of the most volatile situations but Solstice Law has now made it one of the safest fights in the game . When you attend a paintball event and you see those unmistakable orange and white jerseys , thank the paintball gods because you are about to have the time of your life . Everyone should show respect and thank these incredible human beings for sacrificing their time and bodies just to achieve a safe and fair competition .
Final Battle is the combination of brutal savagery , one last shot and leaving it all on the field . This is where legends are made , dreams are fulfilled and glory is achieved . The warriors populated their start points ready to storm the grinder and the surrounding area . Their only objectives were slapsticks in the middle . The goal is not very complicated , hit the slapstick to expose your team ’ s color ; it is the process that seems to be the tortuous task . As a player , you start at the back with a choice : either you work your way up to the middle systematically , or you thunder down the field and hope to dodge errant paintballs . Either way you have to weave your way to the slapstick while 500 + players hurl paintballs at you as fast as they can at 280 feet per second . If , by chance , you have reached the slapstick and begin to change its scoring position , those same 500 + opponents are ready and willing to punish you for your effort . This seems like a tumultuous accomplishment but , if performed successfully , that walk back to the respawn is much sweeter . The Red team continued to enforce their will upon the unwavering Blue team in hopes to finally seal their victory . As both teams fought on , and they began to run trains to the slapstick , it became apparent that this was a show of force and of love . The battle was over , the game had come to an end , players from both sides had met in the middle to celebrate a win because the fight and the passion that every player poured into LLXIV was the true victory .
Living Legends will always be an epic event for everyone involved . It is not just a paintball game , it is an event that plays off the spirit of every person in attendance . They come for the paintball but it is the atmosphere and attendees that makes them come back year after year . The commanders were given their opportunity to speak and to honor the stand outs on their team . . Players also got to witness the next generation be provided with gear to help them begin their journey , thanks to Honu , GI and Ninja paintball . To all the Hall of Fame inductees honored this year , thank you for everything you have done for paintball and its community , . Congratulations to CPX , DJ Honu and Lani Fox for creating a successful and brilliant event , you continue to strive for the player and it shines in every event you produce . Thank you to the women and men of Solstice Law , without your sacrifice the game would never be the same . Thank you to Hell Survivors for making the player experience number one and providing an impeccable facility to the players for so many years . We hope to see you at Endless Legends in October or at Living Legends XV in 2023 .
