the grinder to reenact this famous battle of Leonidas ’ shield carrying Spartans versus Xerxes unending Persian horde . Shields did not have a place in normal game play but this exhibition gave these specific warriors an opportunity to strut their abilities . This battle lasted for two rounds and was unanimously accepted and enjoyed by all players and spectators . Attendees were also able to enter themselves into Madfrog ’ s Beer Pong tourney and to dabble in some choice karaoke . After draining the Tiki Bar dry players shuffled off to their campsites to rest for the upcoming strife .
Day two , a morning usually plagued by late nights and possibly one too many adult beverages , was surprisingly populous and electric . The armies of both teams had not forgotten the day before , the Red team wanting to seal their victory early , the Blue team with a solid chip on their shoulder ready to dominate . The sides had switched , the fight had begun , Blue team jumped out to an early control and held it for some time . The Red eventually started to push back the Blue team , both gaining points and both finding themselves in a deadlock . The dance had truly begun and would carry on for the rest of day two . Elijah Williams had motivated his team , he started a fire in their hearts that could not be extinguished . Both of these commanders lead from the front , they fight their hearts out and they never quit . This passion , from both commanders , emanated throughout their soldiers all weekend . The firefights they had will adorn the history books for years to come . This game ceased to be about winners and losers , it was about passion and ambition for the sport of paintball and the comradery that this sport embodies . As day two came to an end , the only thought that loomed through the masses was that there was only one fight left , Final Battle .
