When final battles occur , and with this many players attending , it becomes quite tedious to uphold the rules , but Solstice Law came through with finesse . They were seen darting in and out throughout the field calling out hit players and watching the slapstick to make sure the changes were legit . These actions by the referees were incredible to watch and very respectable . Being a Legend is about courage and action , the men and women that charged down the fifty , took every ounce of paint the other side could deliver and still scored points for their team , those people are Legends . The Crusade seemed to take charge and take the lion ’ s share of the points from the final battle but was that enough points , combined with the points gained in day 2 , to take home the victory ? We would have to wait for the awards ceremony to find out .
Living Legends 13 dealt with some uncertainty and some heartbreak but it was a truly successful event . Players came from across the country to have an incredible time and there were nothing but happy faces at the closing awards ceremony . Both CPX and Black Ops Paintball should be proud of the event that they collaborated on and should be appreciated greatly for their efforts . Thank you to CPX , Honu and Lani
for another truly successful and exciting event . The days spent , the headaches had and the work you put into this event made it incredible and gave the players a chance to be together once again with the people they love . Black Ops Paintball continues to serve the paintball community with outstanding service and facilities . They never cease to improve and are always reaching above and beyond expectations . Thank you Black Ops Paintball for being such a successful and amazing field . Solstice Law continues to write the book on how running and refereeing events should be accomplished . They are an incredible bunch and if you haven ’ t taken the opportunity to show your appreciation to these men and women please do . They love to be fed , watered and showered with gifts , and they truly deserve it . Thank you to the men and women that put their bodies and extremely expensive equipment in harm ’ s way to capture our exciting events . The photographers make us look good no matter what , so thank you to them for their efforts and for capturing our greatest moments . Congratulations to Joe Perez and his Di Inferi for their glorious victory ! Thank you to all the players that attended Living Legends 13 and I hope to see you in June for Dreaded Legends at Black Ops Paintball in Myrtle Beach !
