The Saturday morning atmosphere of any paintball event is thick with excitement , anticipation and coffee , but this is not just any event , this is Living Legends . The atmosphere is electric , you can feel the nerves pulsing through every person preparing for battle . This event is aptly named , not just because it brings a starstudded cast of notorious players , but because it creates Legends . It takes a show of leadership , one decisive action or just an absolute courageous feat to seal your glory in the history books forever . That one key play you make could be told around campfires for years to come and with the help of very skilled photographers your moment could be captured for a lifetime . The armies have been assembled , the commanders have belted their strategy , the countdown is nearing an end , the time is now . As players stack their respective starting lines , their breath flows hot , heavy
like fire from depths of hell , their hearts beat like ancient Mongol drums , and their minds raced with thoughts of bloodlust and glory . The starting blast tore through the sky and the warriors were off to the races as thoroughbreds thundering down the track , they wanted to dominate and terrorize their opponent , they wanted unquestionable victory . As Di Inferi and the Crusade met on the field they began their dance , a twisted display of reactive strategy . They pushed and pulled against one another eventually finding themselves at each other ’ s front door , not realizing that their own house was being invaded . It seemed as though the red team had momentum on their side , subtly pushing blue into a corner and battering them every chance they could , demoralizing them with a scorched earth mentality . Little did the red team know that a heavy amount of blue players were working their way around the field
