In a post-event note on Facebook thanking the wider network of partners, vendors, staff and volunteers who made the weekend possible, Isky teased that the next move from his team is“ coming sooner than you think.” He has since confirmed what that means: a new partnership with another local government body to launch a second tournament in central Malaysia, with the goal of running three large-scale paintball events a year starting in 2027.
For a tournament that’ s grown from a modest 2008 debut into a fixture drawing teams from three continents, that kind of expansion is a signal worth watching and an open invitation for teams across North America, South America, Europe and beyond to start planning their paintball adventure to Malaysia next year.
