MBPP, the real milestone isn’ t the year-onyear jump- it’ s consistency. This year’ s team count landed about ten teams ahead of 2025’ s total, but that’ s the second straight year the tournament has cleared the 100-team threshold, with a noticeably deeper bench of fully foreign national lineups from Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, and Myanmar joining the mix. There were also players from other countries playing with mixed teams.
Isky credits his lean team of 5 and close cooperation with MBPP for the steady progress. Players’ feedback from past years translated directly into fixes on the ground this year. Past feedback on crowded restrooms during peak hours became added portable toilets, and insufficient food options became onsite food trucks and a coffee vendor. It’ s the kind of unglamorous, practical improvements that keeps competitors coming back.
The event featured six divisions with Open Electronic as the top division.
