The Pro finals marked the first time in U. S. tournament paintball history that neither team battling it our for first place was from North America. And yes, we know that several of the Red Legion players are now living in America but the majority of the roster is from Russia. While the U. S. remains the epicenter for Professional paintball, the world is catching up quickly.
The final game of the Pro event would not disappoint. Every point was a battle. Ton Ton FSU were aggressive point after point but Red Legion’ s back and mid players stopped or bottled up TonTon’ s attack point after point. Still the game and win were on the line until the last minute of the match. Red Legion wins 5-3. It was their first Pro NXL win since 2019, with many of their best players not being able to compete in the U. S. during the early Covid-19 years. At full strength, Red Legion is going to be a tough out the rest of the season.

WNXL Woman ' s Pro Xball

The Midwest Open marked the second leg of the WNXL season for 2025. Coming into the event it was the Femmes Fatale standing alone at the top of the season leaderboard. The Femmes are loaded with talent with Tami Adamson, Andrea Martinez, Casey Erb, Dallas Whitright and others with a ton of high-level experience. Behind the Femmes coming into Cincinnati were the New Jersey High Rollers, a team that looks to be on the rise.
After a first-game loss in the preliminary rounds to Tiki’ s Ohana, the Femmes Fatale turned it up with three straight wins. Dallas Vibe, also in bracket One, had three wins as well. Bracket Two saw the Heroines reel off four straight first-round wins. No other team had three wins in the preliminary rounds.
The Femmes continued their dominant play in the semifinals with an easy 6-2 win over Columbia’ s Suricatos. The Heroines, the only team undefeated in the preliminary rounds, knocked off a very strong Dallas Vibe team, in convincing fashion, 5-0. And it was more of the same in the finals. The Heroines, coached by New England legend Anthony Vitale, took care of business with a 3-1 win over the Femmes Fatale. The Heroines would go wire to wire without a loss to capture first place in the WNXL’ s Midwest Open. www. paintball. media
