for this event . Hundreds of these land mines were scattered across the playing field , halting player movement and access to important structures . As players began to dwindle to the heat and leaving the field due to low amounts of paint , the red resistance side managed to push closer and closer to the enemy base of the coalition . Despite putting the pressure on the blue side , the coalition still managed to push out of their base and into enemy territory to complete a great deal of their missions throughout the day . Some highlights from game play include missions to create something out of empty paintball boxes . Each side used their creativity to build a king ’ s throne and a submarine . As game play ended ,
Madfrog Militia player John Vance used a create-a-mission card to successfully travel to the red team ’ s base and destroy
it with a paint grenade . As regular game play ended the score was in favor of the red resistance side leading into final battle .
The final battle at World at War lasts for a half hour with three slap sticks at the center 50 between both teams . The three stations are scored at the halfway point and at the end of final battle . Players are first tasked with making suicide runs to remove five land mines surrounding each slap stick before it can be scored . In order to remove a landmine a player must step on it and take an elimination . Once the land mines are cleared the slap stick can be scored for points . Both sides were extremely aggressive during final battle however the blue side ended up scoring all flag stations for final battle . The result was a very close score with it being 525- 500 , Red team victorious . www . paintball . media
