Unfortunately for fans of the game , this one wasn ’ t close . A half minute in Heat took a penalty and lost the first point to Dynasty in less than a minute . The second point also saw a penalty on Heat and another quick point . By the time you could say “ fourpeat ,” the match was over , 7-1 San Diego Dynasty .
The win in Philly makes it four Majors in a row for Dynasty . The last team to win four major events in a row was … Dynasty 2004- 2005 . In 2017-2018 Edmonton Impact won three straight Major events . Congrats to Dynasty .
WNXL
The WNXL , featuring six all-female Pro paintball teams is new to the league this season . After a demonstration showcase of several of the WNXL ’ s teams at last year ’ s World Cup , the ladies were ready to go in Florida , the league ’ s first event of 2022 . The difference in play between the 2021 World Cup WNXL demo and this weekend ’ s competition was shocking . These ladies can play paintball . With coaching from former and current pro players like Todd Adamson , Dave Bains , Brandon Baird , Brad McCurley and others , the WNXL is in great hands .
The Games
The WNXL preliminary rounds saw the Heroines winning all four of their games . Destiny winning three , Dallas Vibe two and Femmes Fatale , Cheetas and Sacramento Diamonds each winning one .
