The goals for the 2022 Castle Frontlines attackers are simple . Capture the Courtyard , a huge open field with more than 100 manmade bunkers surrounding the Castle , then find the “ keys ” to the castle , then attack and hold the castle . If you ’ re thinking , “ that sounds too easy for the defenders ” you ’ re probably missing one key element … the attackers outnumber the defenders by a 4:1 ratio . Of the 458 players in attendance , only 86 ( Blue ’ s Crew ) were tasked with defending the Castle . Eliminated players could quickly respawn / re-enter the games .
At 10:30 AM the “ game on ” horn sounded and off when the 375-plus attackers towards the castle courtyard . The battle for ground quickly became intense . The defenders could use the ground around the castle to fend off attackers as well as the safety ( she said in air quotes ) of the castle walls . Hordes of players on both sides walked off almost non-stop for 30 minutes , respawning and getting back in the game quickly . In a matter of 45 minutes or so , the attackers pushed all of the defenders into the castle and shortly thereafter , found all of the keys . The battle for the castle was on and it was hot !
