The Games
All of the big name Professional woodsball teams were here in Maryland — teams like the All Americans , Aftershock , Ironmen , Master Blasters , Infamous and many more . And out of the gate KAPP Factory were running through the competition like it was the 2001 Spyder Cup all over again — seven wins in seven preliminary rounds for KAPP . Los Angeles Infamous also came through their seven preliminary round games unscathed . AC : Empire , Ground Zero Gold , the All Americans and Ironmen each won six of their seven first round games . The Master Blasters , Saints and Fox4 Darkside each won five of their seven opening round games . The cut to make the semifinals was Annapolis A-Team with four wins and a total preliminary round score of 357 points .
The two , three-team Pro quarterfinals brackets were Fox4 Darkside , AC : Empire and Annapolis A-Team in bracket one ; and Farside , Doc ’ s Warriors and Master Blasters in the second bracket . Each three-team bracket would play a round robin to try to advance to the semifinals , with only the bracket ’ s winner moving on . Fox4Darkside won both of their games and advanced from the first bracket and Farside did the same in the second bracket .
The semifinals were set : KAPP Factory , Saints and Misfits in one bracket ; Los Angeles Infamous , Fox4 Darkside and Ironmen in the second bracket ; and Ground Zero Gold , All Americans and Farside in the third .
