The International Classic Paintball League ( ICPL ) held its first of two events this season at OCXX in Maryland the first weekend in June . The ICPL is a ten-man , classic style paintball league using woodsball fields , Hyperball fields and hybrid playing fields . All paintball markers are allowed but must adhere to the 5.5 balls per second rule that originated at Tim Montressor ’ s Iron City Classic in 2017 .
For those not familiar with Brain Barno ’ s OXCC , this is one of the premiere paintball fields in the Mid-Atlantic . OXCC has it all ... turf field airball fields , Hyperball fields , many woodsball fields , hybrid fields — and plenty of parking , staging areas and everything else needed to host an event of this size .
Twenty-two Pro ten-man teams , 26 Amateur ten-man teams and 13 Open class five-man teams entered the ICPL Old Bay Classic . www . paintball . media
