X-Factor in a game that wasn ’ t really competitive . Infamous controlled the game from start to finish . X-Factor , who has been one of the most consistent teams in the game for more than a decade is struggling in 2021 . In the other ocho game it was San Diego Aftermath taking down ac : Diesel 6-4 .
The best early game on Sunday was clearly New York Xtreme versus Houston Heat in the quarterfinals . Three times Heat was up by two points on Xtreme but they fought back every time , including tying the game with 15 seconds to go after being down by two points . What looked like a sure overtime game ended when Heat somehow blew Xtreme off the field in 8 seconds and leisurely ( a relative term of course ) hung the flag for the win . Watching New York Xtreme talking $ hit point after point against anyone they played made me realize the apple didn ’ t fall far from the Master Blasters / Ground Zero tree :). They are fun to watch . I digress …
While the Xtreme versus Heat game was one of the most competitive of the day , the next three pro quarterfinal games were almost non-competitive . In a pretty shocking game , San Diego Aftermath handed Moscow Red Legion their first defeat of the tournament 8-3 . Impact beat Infamous 6-3 and Dynasty beat Seattle Thunder by the same 6-3 score .
