CPX Events has been providing a home for paintball players of all types from legend pro speedballs , scenario masters to your weekend rental players . They started in Joliet , IL presenting Living Legends to thousands of players . DJ Honu Fox has stepped in and helped spread the CPX love across our nation and even over the ocean . They have branched off to the west coast with Dead Legends in California , skipping across the pond to Hawaii for the aptly named Hawaiian Legends . CPX presented Dreaded Legends for our Florida and now South Carolina area residents . Bones and Ashes burst into the scene up in Fayetteville , NC to add to the east coast excitement . CPX and Honu continue their hard work to bring the players and their families the best possible experience . The themed games , generally for an area ’ s rich history , have their own unique storyline and adventures to match . Dreaded Legends started down in Punta Gorda , FL and then moved to Myrtle Beach , SC , both towns are full of pirate tales and lore . We are treated to the Buccaneers versus the Marauders , led by pirate captains in search of pirate treasure . Players set out to find buried treasure and maps to find pirate booty . They ran into insidious sea creatures and luring mermaids . They even had to hunt down each other ’ s armada , earning and receiving shots to try and sink the enemy vessels . Honu loves to utilize every aspect that a field may have to offer , sometimes certain fields offer speedball and hyperball fields . Commanders had to send their shipmates to the deadly high seas . These were specific battles that were fought on the speedball field . Honu opened up every avenue for different players to risk being the champion of the high seas or an all expenses paid trip to Davey Jones ’ Locker .
