Old tales say that in mid-June , as the sun descends beyond Myrtle Beach headed towards Davy Jones ’ Locker and the sea begins her restless climb up the beaches , you can hear a soft thunder roll . When the night grows darkest , beachgoers can hear the tides slapping against aged wood , hear the air beating tattered flags and taste a bit of stale rum in the air . It is only when they hear the boots and wooden pegs pound against the sand and see the dark , cold eyes of scurvy pirates ascending the beaches that they know Dreaded Legends has come to South Carolina . June 18th , 2021 kicked off the sixth installment of this scallywag stacked event at Black Ops Paintball in Myrtle Beach .
CPX events brought only their finest booty and weathered treasure maps to put on an event that any pirate loving , seafaring paintballers will never forget . Marauders and Buccaneers would fight with and against their paintball family to place their team in the history book under eternal glory . Any well organized ship is not without its steadfast commander , and 2021 delivers two of the best for Dreaded Legends 6 . Leading the Marauders ( red team ) is Henny “ Moneybags ” of the Timberghosts , a vibrant and forceful opponent willing to take on a challenge thrown his way . Heading the Buccaneers ( blue team ) is the returning commander with his hard-hitting strategy and towering stature Matt “ Vanilla Gorilla ” Copeland . These fierce competitors will bring hundreds of scallywag paintballers head to head through treacherous terrain and the deadly high seas . www . paintball . media
