Just before the final hour, Berenato called for a last push and exhausted NATO players could be seen in the parking lot throwing gear back on and re-entering the field, demonstrating incredible dedication to their commander.
When the final fireworks sounded, players walked off the field completely spent— no air, no paint, no energy left for even one more attack. Both teams believed they might have won. name their MVT, MVP, and young guns amongst other awards. But everyone waited anxiously to hear the final result.
Finally, players fell silent as the final score was announced: Only 500 points separated the two sides— the entire game decided in the final hour. Led by Berenato, the unrelenting NATO took home the event trophy in another legendary Fulda Gap finish.
