As Saturday dawned with near-perfect weather— much warmer than the freezing mornings some years have seen, the game started with highintensity from the gate. The 10 tanks in attendance rumbled into position ahead of the players, while Special Forces and Spetsnaz took up their starting locations. As players chronographed and staged, staff deployed smoke generators and the opening fireworks sounded.
The opening hours looked like a bruising stalemate. Paint filled the air, and firefights erupted across every zone of the field. The first hour score had NATO + 50, the second had Warsaw + 100, and the saw NATO surge back to + 400.
From there, it swung wildly. Commanders utilized gas attacks, airstrikes, and nukes to move forces effectively around the field and defend space where needed. Neither team was willing to give ground, but they did eat a lot of paint and put on a ton of uphill miles.
When Saturday ended, Warsaw held a razor-thin 50-point lead, equal to just one base count.
On Sunday, the teams returned to pound on each other again, this time with everything on the line. Both generals pushed hard to ensure maximum turnout at game-on. The day proved as brutal and fast-paced as Saturday, with neither side surrendering an inch to the other side. Each side was dug in deep and very hard to eliminate.
