Asked what advice he would give to other players with hearing deficiencies , Casile made it plain and simple :
“ Be yourself ,” he said . “ Just play as you love . Rise to the challenge that knowing may come not easy . Don ’ t let anything stop you because you can ’ t hear . You have the skill , interest , motivation and willingness in playing paintball . There ’ s always a mountain to climb . Accept the challenge . Prove the naysayers , even doubters wrong because we all ballers are the same , scoffs just one teeny thing .. hear .
Ascension won EPL ’ s Sportsmanship Award for the 2023 season , which was donated by Hornets Nest
“ We felt honored playing [ in the ] EPL ,” Casile said . “[ It was ] much appreciated how the organization interacted with Ascension without a conflict . Of course there were small hiccups but they were quickly resolved . Ascension had an awesome season .”
This season , Ascension is moving on to a new challenge , Casile said , playing 5-man at NRPL with hopes of playing in the NXL in the future .
“ The big goal is proving the world wrong . We can play ,” he said . And the way to do that , according to Casile , is by winning major events . www . paintball . media
