By now you have probably heard that Archie Montemayor has left San Antonio X-Factor and has been picked up by a red-hot San Diego Dynasty team that already looks unbeatable since adding Tyler Harmon a year ago . For 15 years Montemayor has arguably been the team ’ s best player and with him San Antonio X-Factor has finished in 2nd place in three of the last six events and five times in the past 11 events . They are a perennial top five finisher in the NXL ’ s season-ending standing in the Pro Division

What does this do to X-Factor ? Rich Telford told us , “ I think you have two strong teams with deep rosters and one player … even Archie won ’ t make that big of a difference .” Ryan Moorhead agreed , “ Losing a great player is always hard on even the best teams , but X-Factor is a talented team and they can definitely overcome the loss of Archie by coming together as a team and elevating each other . Great teams are more than one player and their mindset ’ s will determine their successes moving forward … As for Dynasty after coming off back to back World Cup wins getting the influx of a top talent can make sure that they stay motivated and it will force more competition . If everyone has the right attitude about the competition it is a blessing . With that said adding a great player doesn ’ t always make a team better . The most important thing for them will be to make sure everyone meshes well and is on the same page once the honeymoon is over and during trying times .”

Living Legends is a one-of-a-kind event if there ever was one . It ’ s one of the few games where players can rub elbows with true legends of the game of paintball , both on the field and off . We ’ ve been told by DJ Honu Fox that this year game will have “ Some all-new surprises for sure ” and that that are “ excited to be back at Hel Survivors .”
