Is it expensive to play in Iran ? What challenges do you face that may differ from the challenges in the US or Europe ?
Yes it is . Sadly in the past two years , due to the raise of currency prices , US dollar in particular , costs of playing paintball has increased tremendously . For instance , price of high-range goggle is now almost five times more expensive comparing to like two years ago .
Are they privately owned or govt . run ?
There many paintball fields belong to government which are not for public to use . Those 6 or 7 fields are being handled by privet owners . For paint we have two local manufacturers but the quality of their product is below field grade . Is scenario paintball played in Iran ?
There used to be one or two woodsball fields in north part of Iran few years ago ; we ’ ve never had any big scenario games like what it ’ s known in US here .
Are there any companies making paintball gear in Iran ?
Gear ? Not really . And if we say so , unfortunately , they are making low quality copy version of known products such as goggle ’ s lenses . Sadly , we do not have “ copyright laws ” in our country and it puts the safety of the sport in danger .
