At the time I asked him to join UNDRPRVLGD the team . We have been playing paintball a long time together . VM just followed suit , it was a natural step . Now not to say , that we do not try and are wanting to expand into other sports . Paintball is just easy because we know the space and people within the sport . Starting UNDR , that is a whole mess of why I did it . Overall , it was to make beer money and pay for events . Travis and I made VM so we could give back and try and do something . We know suicide is an issue , we know there are vets in crisis situations daily . We did not see how dumping ice on your head or doing 22 pushups made a connection to those veterans . So , the FB was the first choice , and from there it is just slowly and continues to grow . The management side is loosely running but set up like you would see the head shed of a unit . Travis Kerr , I , Dwayne Pearce , Jeff Munoz , Chris Cox , Josh Whann , have all been here since the start and grown into help steer the overall group .
How does this group / team help veteran for non-paintball issues ? What was some of the issues you had in making this group ?
We know our limits first and foremost , however when a veteran post in the page , almost without hesitation the group jumps into action to help each other . It is something amazing to see and it makes me enormously proud . We know that some issues are out of our scope , and we work with known agencies to help them connect with the issue ( s ) at hand . With the group being all over , it helps with us being on the ground to go and help guys in need . We can pool resources and move to be there or get those locally involved to help . Issues I have , I suffer from the spicy dreams and chronic depression . My issues stem out of 4 years of
