By definition, 1996 was a year of transition.
Diane“ Mother” Howe, a staple in the Florida scenario community and at Wayne ' s field, would leave Marion ' s Raiders in 1996 and join the well-established Blitzkrieg paintball team out of Houston, of which“ Pacman” was already a member. Pacman was also the owner of the field they played at, BSG. This was the same year Wayne and Jackie moved out of Survival Zone and into their own location, Wayne ' s World of Paintball, which has been referred to by many as the Disney World of Paintball.
Blitzkrieg and Diane continued to travel to Florida to play in and support Wayne ' s games, including playing against former teammate Kerry“ Viper” Rosenberry, and by 1997, against Spiro“ Black Cat” Mamaligas and his team, Joint Fury. Much more on Spiro later.

In 1997, Pacman and Diane began dating.
