Dark Ops would not stay down for the count , using their home-field advantage to make one last statement by toppling the reigning champs , Image . Unfortunately , their rally wouldn ’ t be enough for a finals berth . Their bracket was Image would slide in over them by a mere sixpoint margin . Only one point separated Infamous and Image , a heartbreak loss for the Infamous .
In the second semifinal bracket , The Omaha Bulls were still raging . They put the hurt on Fight Club and then gave a valiant effort against ac : Empire . The match came down to one man standing on Empire , who made the full pull and didn ’ t have enough time to hang . The win gave ac : Empire enough to move on to the finals .
The third semi-bracket was where all of the eyes were turned , with Smoke , Aftershock , and Farside duking it out . Smoke would stun both of the other squads .
And Smoke stayed hot going into the finals . They punched Image in the mouth with a quick hang to start , but that is where their weekend would end . Empire rolled them in their last match , relegating them to third place overall .
The title would be decided in dramatic fashion with a long , drawn-out matchup between Image and Empire . The final two players on Image would make the pull and hang on Empire in a heartbreak loss for a heavy-hitting squad . The teams came out tied at 106 points , but the headto-head victory gave the advantage to Image , and Image would come out on top one more time .
Image preserved their title in the Pro division , earning them back-to-back event and series championships .
