It ’ s a few days after the NFL Superbowl and all I hear on sports talk radio is talk about “ Chief ’ s Fatigue .” We ’ re tired of the Chiefs winning , Mahomes being the next Brady , his wife Brittany ’ s ghetto social media posts and of course there ’ s Taylor Swift . The Chiefs have been good , really good for five years . Newsflash , San Diego Dynasty has been dominant , but for a few short years in the middle , for 22 years . And I don ’ t hear any talk of “ Dynasty fatigue .”
Let ’ s face it , no team in paintball has ever put up the number of wins that Dynasty has . Actually not even half the number . Actually , actually not even a third of the number . But this is a likable group and the faces of Dynasty , Alex Fraige and Ryan Greenspan are easy to root for … especially the older , kinder version of Alex . Root for them or not , they are coming for your trophies and they are taking them more often than not . In fact they ’ ve taken the Pro first place trophy in 8 of the last 12 major events . And 2023 was no different . If it weren ’ t for Tampa Damage , Dynasty may have swept the season . That said another three-win season and rankings title is just what these guys do .
