In 2022 , the NXL premiered a new youth league at the World Cup which saw the participation of 32 teams with young guns from around the globe . In 2023 , the league struggled to find an identity , but the World Cup competition would see a repeat . Mirroring the results of the previous season , it was Infamous Kidz who would dominate the tournament , sending everyone else packing and rising to the top of the podium for the second straight season .
What will become of the youth division this year remains to be seen , but rumblings of a third youth championship are already being heard . Most of the youth teams went home from Kissimmee , regrouped , and went back to grind to train for a run at the title once again . And , with the move of coach Thomas Taylor from Infamous to New York Xtreme , we have yet to see if there will be a return of the ‘ Kidz for a chance at a three-peat .
