In anticipation of the growth to come and drawing on his experience with the development of his team Black Lotus , Panda knew he was going to need help .
“ That ’ s when I brought on Abby Bunnell ,” he said . “ I knew I needed her to help my brain .”
News of this new hit-man army trickled throughout the community this past fall , and Panda unveiled the concept at Winter Brawl on December 18 at On Target Paintball . Two bounties were raised in the first outing .
The Making of a Bounty
In simple terms , bounties are games within games for charity-sake . Any person can put out a bounty on another person or player at an event where the Pandalorians are in attendance . Once they have a concept of what kind of shenanigans they want to see performed , beneficiaries can “ hire ” the Pandalorians as mercenaries to execute the predetermined task . The team will then post a “ Wanted ” ad on their social media .
On the day of the event , the Pandalorians will release the tasks to their team of bounty hunters as timed missions throughout the day .
Once the task is completed , and evidence of its completion is provided , the hiring party pays up . Proceeds are all donated to the youth team .
Although this is for charity , Panda said they are being selective about which bounties they take . Not every job is going to be accepted by the Pandalorians .
“ We talk to the bounty ahead of time , obviously without revealing the task . The bounty has to accept the challenge ,” Panda said . “ They have to be funny , embarrassing , and slightly annoying .”
Finally , to add extra insult to so-called injury , the bounty has to be carried out on video , and the evidence of completion must be provided for public dissemination . That way , everyone gets a small taste of the fun .
