A Mercenary Squad Unveils an Innovative Concept for Charity Benefiting Youth Paintball

It ’ s been said that television in excess is bad for the brain , but in the case for Lorne “ Dyzana Panda ” Leyes and the Montressor ’ s Marauders , a day in front of the screen led to one of the most creative charity concepts that paintball has seen to date .
Panda , a supporter of the Montressor ’ s Marauders youth team in the Tri-State area , was privy to many discussions amongst parents of the players regarding the enormous cost of getting their team to the World Cup in 2022 for the premier of the youth division , and he wanted to do something to help them out .
“ I thought , ‘ What can I do to help the team besides coaching ?’,” Panda said . And he began plotting ways to offset costs for them wherever possible . One small example , when the Marauders landed in
Orlando , Panda had pizza sent to them for encouragement and support . “ It was like , hey , here ’ s dinner on me all the way from Philly ,” he said .
But he wanted to do something more . So , after a night of binge watching ‘ The Mandalorian ’, Jon Favreau ’ s now-famous Western-style , Star Wars television series , Panda was inspired with an idea to become the paintball bounty hunter , and use funds raised as donations to the Marauders organization .
He , true to scenario baller form , didn ’ t go small with this brain child . Actually , Panda went so far as designing a Mandalorianstyle costume he would don at events , complete with a custom JT Flex designed after Boba Fett or Din Djarin . But as he talked about the idea with other members of the community , the response was overwhelming , and the concept evolved from being a solitary bounty hunter , to creating an army of pseudo-warriors , like the Mandalorians of the Star Wars universe , and thus , the Pandalorians were born .
