Chicago Aftershock kept rolling in the semifinals , sending Image and the Misfits home early . Team Smoke squeezed into the finals by the slimmest of margins against the All Americans and ac : Empire . Each team won one game and Smoke advanced by losing less players than their opponents . And in the third semifinal bracket KAPP Factory won their two game to advance .
The finals weren ’ t even close . Aftershock went wire to wire in this event , from the first game to the last never losing a single game . In the finals they literally speedbumped two very good teams : Team Smoke and Kapp Factory . In their two final-round game Aftershock lost only two players in each game and walked off with first places without breaking a sweat . By virtue of their win over KAPP Factory , Team Smoke finished in second place .
Amateur Ten-Man
Of the 27 teams that entered the Amateur Ten-Man division there wasn ’ t a single team to win their seven preliminary round games . In fact , at the end of the round only Hydra . Fit would win even five games before heading to the next round . The Saberwolves somehow managed to rank second in the Amateur Ten-Man division at the end of round two with three losses in seven games . Safe to say , this division is hypercompetitive .
