Steve Baldwin - Steve Baldwin , founder of the Mayhem Tigers , got his start in the paintball industry in 1987 as a paintball field operator and later became a large paintball products distributor servicing all of western Europe . Steve ( along with Paul Wilson ) was also the promoter / producer of the original Mayhem events in the UK and later was one of the founders of the Millennium Series . You can count on one hand the number of people that have done as much for UK paintball is Steve has done over the years . Steve currently works for Kore Outdoor .
Randy Baxter – One of paintball ’ s must-attend events as the sport grew in the early 90s was the Splat-1 Indoor , produced for several years by Randy Baxter and promoted at the East Tennessee Agricultural Expo Center near Knoxville . Teams from around the country converged on the Expo Center to play fiveman speedball without concern for the weather and the industry heavily supported the enjoyable and intense event . For years , the Splat-1 indoor was on the list of every serious tournament paintball player , right up there with the Masters , World Cup and Amateur Open .
Dan Bonebreak – Dan was a player at the highest levels in the 1990s and 2000s with his team Phantom Force and later Avalanche . Dan runs the Supergame event in Oregon and has for more than 25 years . Because of its success , Supergame is now a three-event national series played each season in Oregon as well as the Midwest and the east coast .
Jerry Braun – Involved in paintball since the very early days in 1982 , Jerry Braun became a major part of paintball ’ s history when , in the early days of tournament paintball , he decided that paintball , like any other sport , should have a World Cup . First promoted at his field , Survival New York , before moving south to Florida where it continues to make its home now , the World Cup has become the largest event in paintball ’ s history . Jerry Braun was also an instrumental part of the NPPL in its early days and a force behind teams like Ground Zero and New York Xtreme , in addition to owning Paintball Sports , a long-standing paintball magazine that ceased publication a few years back . Braun remains in paintball to this day as the owner of Survival New York , which is the longerst running paintball field in the world .
