Nick Slowiak – Nick has done much in his nearly 20 years in the game , playing with teams like 187 Crew , Aftershock , the Ironmen Houston Heat and San Antonio X-Factor to name a few . Where Nick goes , first place finishes and podium appearances often follow , and quickly . Nick has also established himself as one of the tournament game ’ s best on-air personalities doing color commentating for GoSports in the US and Europe early on . You may recognize Nick ’ s voice as the lead narrator in The Complete History of Paintball documentary film which debuted in April of 2020 .
Jessica Sparks – One of the great women of paintball , Jessica Sparks has devoted her life to the game , contributed to it and helped it grow in many ways . From her time with the NRA to her tenure as the editor of what was , at the time , the most popular and best-known magazine of paintball sports in the world , Action Pursuit Games , Sparks helped put a respectable and legitimate face on the entire paintball world in the eyes of the larger , non-playing public and influenced how countless thousands learned the game of paintball through her time at APG , all while proving that paintball is a game men and women can enjoy equally . Jessica ’ s pink VM-68 Magnum paintball gun was , at last report , housed in the National Firearms Museum .
Patrick Spohrer and Bonnie DeMenge – Patrick Spohrer is paintball ’ s filmmaker . He tells the stories about our sport ’ s top players and sees things through a lens like nobody else can . Together with wife Bonnie DeMenge , they bring those stories to the world . Their company , Monkey With a Gun Productions , has brought the paintball world films like Push , Sunday Drivers , Heroes for a Day , Cereal Killers and CK2 , which have showcased the lives and playing ability of some of paintball ’ s very best players . Universally loved and respected , Patrick and Bonnie continue to wow the paintball world with every new movie they release .
Claudia Welikson - In 1990 five-man paintball tournaments were huge — they were everywhere . But on the east coast the game was 15-man . But that all changed when Claudia Welikson ’ s Paintcheck five-man took over Skirmish for a weekend . Claudia was also the founder of Paintcheck Magazine , which debuted in 1989 .
