Their website , WARPIG , the World And Regional Paintball Information Guide , was for years the only and for years after , still the very best online resource for paintball information and interaction and Bill and Dawn rapidly became some of the most beloved people in paintball . While everyone and their brother now has a paintball news and information website , they all owe their existence to Warpig , a site that still carries on today with news , articles , information and a rich collection of coverage of events dating back many years .
Ed Rieker : When Ed Rieker ’ s son Tony started PbNation late in 2000 he probably had no idea what was in store in the future . Within a few years the site and the company needed help and Ed , former candidate for Mayor of Avondale Estates and long-time player , jumped in with both feet . He built it , and built it well , and they came by the tens of thousands . PbNation is the largest paintball related website on the internet today . Ed sold the company and has moved on .
Fred Schultz – After a 20-plus year absence , Fred is back ! The original paintball “ MC ”, Fred was full of personality and charisma , and he loved the game and the spotlight . Fred was the captain of California pro team Constant Pursuit and he hosted and played in “ Paintball USA ” a made for TV paintball event filmed on Main Street in Disney , which was huge back then ( 1994 ). He was responsible for one of the bestselling paintball videos of all time , “ The Basics of Paintball ” and had a short-lived paintball TV show . Fred regularly MC ’ d the International Amateur Open , was the general at several big games , and he is as nice a guy as you will ever meet .
Josh Silverman - Josh has been involved in virtually every aspect of paintball since 1993 . In addition to playing paintball for 28 years , Josh has managed paintball pro-shops and fields , he ’ s taken some of the best and most well-known photographs in the game , written for practically every magazine in paintball , was the Assistant Editor at Paintball 2Xtremes , the Associate Editor of Paintball Games International and now holds the Associate Editor position at Paintball . Media . For several years Josh helped promote the largest and most famous regional tournament series in the world , the CFOA , with founder Larry Motes . He co-authored the Field Owner ’ s Survival Guide with John Amodea , has consulted for several paintball companies and he continues to be a very influential insider in the game of paintball today . Josh currently works for Valken Paintball .
