Rene , Juvy Boucher – Rene and Juvy owned , operated and produced Paintball News , the fist newsprint magazine for paintball in 1989 . Paintball News covered every part of the game for just about a decade before giving way to the plethora of magazines and regs that hit the scene in the late-1990s through the mid-2000 .
Steve Davidson - No one in paintball has gotten less public credit for their accomplishments in paintball than Steve Davidson . Steve was one of the founding members of the NPPL and is credited with being the one that pushed for the meeting that eventually ended up catapulting the league into existence . Steve has been a magazine editor , a paintball website owner ( 68caliber . com ), a long-time player with the late 80s paintball team Werewolves , and the driving force behind the push to place an historical marker at the roadside of the site of the first ever paintball game in New Hampshire .
John Dresser - John is a career paintball lifer . He ’ s been a player at the highest level and for the past 20 years or so he ’ s been influencing the game of paintball from his position at PbNation . There are not more than a dozen people in paintball right now that have more influence in the game than John does , and he uses it well . John recently left PbNation and is currently the Marketing Director at Kore Outdoor .
Jeff Gallatin - His name has never been a household word but Jeff Gallatin has been shooting and producing great live action and lifestyle paintball videos longer than anyone , mostly for his own company Traumahead Sportz . His influence on the video world may have gone unnoticed to most players but those in the media , particularly in the video side of the media , know and respect what Jeff has done over his 15-plus years in the game .
