Jeff Perlmutter , David Freeman - Until Freeman and Perlmutter started Pursuit Marketing Inc . ( PMI ) in 1983 there was no competition in the marketplace ... it was all NSG , all the time . PMI went on to be an industry leader for more than twenty years , producing brands like Evil and products like RP Scherer Marbalizer paintballs , still a favorite today . PMI then went on to merge with industry rival National Paintball Supply and the new company became KEE Action Sports , which was later acquired by GIS Sportz . Beyond all of this , Dave and Jeff were extremely influential in the 1980s and early 90s . They sponsored events and teams are were a driving force in tournament paintball . Dave also owned Direct Connect in the late 80s and early 90s . PMI ’ s biggest contribution to the game was their years of work creating a wholesale distribution network , literally from nothing .
Aldo Perrone - In 1985 Aldo Perrone founded Brass Eagle , a force in paintball manufacturing and distribution in the 1980s and 1990s . Perrone later sold the company to Daisy . Perrone is responsible for introducing a plethora of paintball products to players worldwide including the Nightmare , Poison , Cobra , King Cobra , Barracuda and Ninja paintguns , in the late 80s and early 90s .
Gino Postorivo - Anyone that can go from selling a few cases of paintballs out of his father ’ s pizzeria to becoming one of the largest entities in paintball has got to make every list . And that ’ s what Gino did in the 1990s and 2000s with National Paintball Supply . After 20 years at National Paintball Supply , creating brands like 32 Degrees and Empire , Gino stepped out of paintball for a few years but came back strong with his current company Valken Paintball .
