Larry Alexander - The founder and owner of AKA Low Pressure , Larry contributed much in the way of low-pressure marker operation knowledge and he was the engineer behind the AKA Viking and AKA Excalibur paintball markers . He was also holder of many US Patents for gas holding chambers , regulator designs and other paintball and non-paintball products . Sadly , Larry passed away in 2013 following a long illness .
Ross Alexander .. and Jerry Dobbins - Ross Alexander and his company Line SI developed and manufactured the Line SI Bushmaster in ’ 87 . The gun was the rage in paintball for twoplus years . One of the best pump paintball guns ever made , numerous events were won by teams wielding the Bushmaster in the late eighties . Jerry Dobbins , who is credited with engineering the Bushmaster later purchased Line SI and then changed company name to Indian Creek Designs where he designed and produced markers like the Promaster , BK2 , Puma , Blackcat , Thundercat and more . Jerry was an early member of team Navarone as well .
Dave Bell - Not many people in paintball are more creative when it comes to designing paintball products than Dave Bell , and his
VL-2000 electronic hopper changed the way people could design paintguns after that point . For many years , though teams and players used a variety of different paintball guns , they all had one thing in common , the loader on top , the VL-2000 and Revolution . Dave has also worked designing products for KEE , Empire Paintball and Valken , where he currently still works developing products that nearly everyone has used at some point .
Bryon Benini – Bryon was a staple of the 1990s Ironmen roster playing alongside Bob Long , Marty Busch , Shane Pestana , Dirk Gadberry and many more of the OG greats . He was also a partner in the making of the film “ Push .” All of that said , his biggest contributions to the game may have come from his time working as a product designer at DYE , then later GI Sportz and now with his company Push .
Paul “ PGP ” Bollenbach - Paul is another on this list that is known both as a player and an influential member of the paintball industry . As captain of the Jax Warriors Paul played for many years at the highest level of the sport . Paul has spent more than 20 years in the paintball industry working for companies like Diablo Direct , KEE , GI Sportz and now Social Paintball . www . paintball . media
