Greg Muller - Greg has been a serious player , event promoter , event sponsor , paintball product sales rep and for years called Valken his work home . He ’ s a former store owner , buyer / developer at NPS South and Operations Manager at KEE . Although retired from full time work in paintball , Greg still does consuting and content and media review for a handful of paintball companies .
Chris Raehl – In addition to creating a viable college paintball program , the NCPA , that allows students who love the game to participate in a legitimate way , Chris Raehl did something else momentous for paintball , the APPA . Yes , the scoring , scheduling and player identification and ranking program used by the PSP and , finally , most every other serious league in paintball , was his doing . Finally , thanks to Chris
Raehl , tournament paintball players could be ranked and tracked by experience , allowing players on various skill levels to compete on a much more level playing field than had ever been possible before . While it may not be a perfect system , the fact that someone has put years of effort into creating paintball ’ s best ranking and classification system counts for a massive amount and the service it has been to competitive paintball is practically immeasurable .
William Shatner - Late in 2001 William Shatner , the legendary “ Captain Kirk ,” said yes to JJ Brookshire ’ s request to hold a Star Trek themed big game . The event brought tons of publicity to paintball from the “ outside ” world , including another celebrity who played the game with him , “ Mancow .” www . paintball . media
